Today DEAF RAT releases 2nd single Hail The End Of Days from the upcoming album BAN THE LIGHT. The song Hail The End Of Days shows the world exactly what DEAF RAT is all about. Pure heavy hard rock, roughed up around the edges and at the same time with a beautiful dark tone.
The plot for the music video for Hail The End Of Days was forged from the dark and disturbing stories which the songs lyrics are based on.

The lyrics on BAN THE LIGHT and on this song in particular are based on stories from inside of a cult. Before we had any lyrics written I watched the documentary Holy Hell and was floored by the gruesomeness. Immediately it became clear to me that this was going to be the blueprint for the lyrics on the album.
