The acclaimed Swedish hard rock trio DEAF RAT – who earlier this year were confirmed to support Judas Priest, returns with new single “Within The Dead Souls” today. The song, produced and recorded by award winning producer Erik Berglund (Brothers Of Metal, Skraekoedlan, Good Harvest), can be streamed on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and other digital platforms.
“Within The Dead Souls” marks the first taste of what DEAF RAT has been up to since the release of their acclaimed album BAN THE LIGHT, which was released in November 2019 via AFM Records. The track Within The Dead Souls is released with a music video that was filmed by former Deaf Rat drummer Karl Löfgren.
The cover artwork of the single was again designed by Lukasz Jaszak who also did the artwork for the bands recent release BAN THE LIGHT.
DEAF RAT were earlier this year confirmed to join fellow countrymen H.E.A.T on the 14 three week long European tour “Sign In The Northern Sky” i May, but after being rescheduled twice, DEAF RAT had to decline the participation since the bands were unable to synchronise touring schedules for 2021.

DEAF RAT – is reconfirmed to support Judas Priest for the rescheduled show at Dalhalla, an open air arena i Sweden, world famous for its spectacular view and atmosphere. Other artists that have previously been on the bill at Dalhalla: ZZ-Top, Europe, Iggy Pop, Deep Purple, Hammerfall, John Fogerty, Mustasch, The Hives, In Flames.
